It looks like the new trend in the anime industry is making real life action films/shows. First dragon ball and bleach did it years ago. That was a horrendous scene. Now we got one piece, yuyu hakshou , ruroni kenshin and coming soon NARUTO.
Date and timing?
There is no official release date announced yet, but it is currently in development under Lionsgate and script writer from The Witcher is helping out.
Looking at one piece timing of the real life show. It took about 3 years to complete, but there was a lot of delay due to oda and life size models of ships.
We could see Naruto being around the same time or even faster.
